If I go on a low carb diet, will it lower the amount of good bacteria in my gut?

Also, if I take probiotics, will they be able to be sustained in my gut on a low carb diet or will the probiotics be ineffective in providing benefits if I am on a low carb diet?

Probiotic bacteria rely on complex carbohydrate to function and I’m afraid a low carb diet can seriously affect that. Even with the probiotics, the bacteria can’t work effectively without the carbohydrates as fuel so I really would not recomend this as a diet. X

My roomie and I are looking for some fat burning stomach workouts but all we have are 2 3-pound weights. We will not be buying any more equipment so what can we do to burn stomach fat without any extra stuff? Thanks!

You can’t choose where the fat your body burns will be. If you do crunches you could lose weight in your legs. Just go for walks or jogs and do leg workouts. (Building up leg muscles makes you burn fat faster.)

Stairs (up fast, down slowly is good), step ups, burpees, sit ups push ups, jogging on the spot, …… anything to get your heart pumping and your breathing rate up is cardio. Take it easy to begin with and you will stick at it longer.

the best food I believe, would be less food. fads don’t really work. Just cut down on the junk or big portions and the fat will melt away faster than you’d think.

i need to lose some weight soon, i already am eating better but i need some very good excersizes to help me lose belly fat. i also want to tone my back and butt. but my main priorty is losing fat. any ideas that dont include using one of those big blow up balls?

Squats… crunches….and some decent cardio.

You cant choose to loose weight in a certain spot… but overall weight loss with concentration in trouble areas is key.

Do some power walking and crunches, continue to eat well, wont take long.
